Yeah, Volquez hit Donaldson, you could interpret it either way but when you have a warning in place you HAVE to enforce the rules especially when one can reasonably say it was on purpose.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

That's why I asked if it was clearly intentional or not. The umpire is allowed to make the decision. A warning just means if it's deemed intentional ejections will follow.
So your post was a bit unclear, and again I'm just curious because of what happened in the Pirates game, but was it pretty clearly intentional? Baserunners on? What were the outs and score scenario at the time?Comment
