It was bases loaded 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th and Shaw had a base hit and for some reason they didn't pinch run for Ortiz on 2nd and they tried to score him from second on a base hit to LF and Seth Smith threw him out easily.

Now it's bottom of the 11th, still tied 8-8 but it's frustrating we were up 7-0 at one point.

Now we're bringing in Rob Rasmussen (guy we got in the Mark Lowe trade) and he's been horrible so I expect the game to end shortly.

Exactly how I feel about he Mariners right now lol.

Three game series with Boston, we were 6.5 out and I thought maybe we could at least be 4.5 out because the Angels are playing KC, but the Royals have held up their end, it's just we've lost too and are still 6.5 back.and if we lose again today and LA wins tonight, then we're 7.5 back. Then Baltimore won and if LA loses, we'll be 7 back. It's just frustrating lol

Zack Greinke goes boom on the first pitch and flips the bat.

        **** the DH.

Agh, my faith in humanity has been restored.

Mariners up 9-8 in the top the twelfth, bases loaded still no one out

            MVP! MVP!

He gonna get a fortune this offseason. Hopefully from the Dodgers, I think he fits well there as a #2 guy

I wanna say it was a good win, but it wasn't. 6 back now, could be 6.5 back again if the Angels win tonight. Go KC!

Madison Bumgarner with the bat: 2-3, HR, double.

Madison Bumgarner on the mound: complete game shutout, 3 hitter, 14 Ks, 1 BB.

Nationals swept by the Giants and are now a game under .500. Of course no other team gets swept as well as the Nationals do, right F.P.? They are finished. It's great. 2012 was really their year to win it all and they blew it shutting down Strasburg.

I don't like the Mets either, but I wish they won against the Pirates to make that lead over the Gnats even bigger.

Guys like Zimmermann (Jordan) and Span are walking too.

This was really their best chance at winning it all.

Another wasted start by Shelby Miller, but at least we won. I can't believe Maybin is still on this. The Braves' offensive MVP for sure. Can't believe I just typed those words.

Also, thank you Bumgarner. Kill 'em dead.

Of course, the Mets are still the Mets and the Nationals have had lucky horseshoe bull****-type stuff happening for them too in recent years so it wouldn't surprise me if the Mets crash and the Nationals go on some inexplicable run. They're annoying like that.

If his main goal is the biggest contract possible, someone will pay him 6/150 or 7/175 and it won't be us.

Friedman and Zaidi are "get 80% of the performance at 25% of the cost" executives and throwing big money at an aging pitcher is the opposite of that MO. If Greinke walks, I could see them targeting Jordan Zimmermann as the #2 starter behind Kershaw.

                          It's like the UNC-Duke rivalry.

I love it when Carolina wins but it's almost as satisfying to see Duke lose. Feel the same way about Walgreens.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

They really need to automate the strike zone. Umps are terribly inconsistent and it's getting out of control. I hate it.
