What a weekend for the Blue Jays and Cubs. Wow. Shocking.

Phillies sweep the Padres! 16-5 record since the All-Star break. Amazing what this team has done lately. These young kids can play ball.

Police have cleared out Wrigley just after the game and have dogs sweeping the park. Bomb threat?

Police are sweeping through Wrigley Field with dogs after officials ordered everyone to leave the iconic ballpark.

Gregerson is just not a closer.... at least not at this juncture. They really needed to land Chapman.

I can't believe he was DFA'ed. What a day he had.

What a series he had. 6 of the 13 runs in the four games were his ribbies.

I don't understand how he gets DFA'd and then a few days later they trade for Pennington. There's gotta be some weird little nuance regarding rosters why he was the stick that fell out of the bundle.

Also, it's way too expensive (especially NYY stadium).

Trust me, there are a LOT of Jays fans who can't believe it either. I just hope Valencia doesn't go crazy and get big hits against the Jays this week.

He gave the old "I'm just gonna go help this team win the series" cliche after today's game when asked about going back to Toronto.

I didn't find Yankee Stadium to be any more ridiculous pricewise than I've seen elsewhere. I got tickets on the third level for like 25 bucks each.

The Yankees are 8th on the list of percent to capacity.

The reason people didn't go was likely because it's the Blue Jays. They are 27th in baseball in away percent to capacity. They just don't draw fans.
The Red Sox aren't even selling out games anymore. I forget when the streak ended but it might have been around 2011-12.

Both of those points are true as well. And Speedy especially in those big ticket markets, like Boston and NY. Yea you can get cheap seats but then add in all of those other expenses, like transportation, parking, food, souvenirs, beer, etc. When went to Fenway a couple of years ago, 1 cup of beer was something like $11. And a "Fenway Frank" was something like $7.

Cruz hit his 33rd HR today. Montero hit his 2nd, he looks like he could be a 1B/DH guy next year for sure.

Felix with a strong performance as well.
