Yea, it's really only the legends seats that are crazy. And baseball is still really affordable when compared to other sports.

I must be missing something, I don't see how the attendance was that bad this weekend.

It is so much more affordable compared to other sports,at least depending on the team. Toronto for example, you can get some good seats in 200 level baseline for under $50. Go to a Leafs game, you're paying at least $60 for the cheapest seats in the arena(up in 300 level, high rows, behind the nets).

Announced numbers are good, but from what I saw at least,so many empty seats. Behind home plate, you'd see a number of empty seats the entire game. They'd show above the dugouts and you'd see almost an entire row or two empty on both sides.

I don't understand how he gets DFA'd and then a few days later they trade for Pennington. There's gotta be some weird little nuance regarding rosters why he was the stick that fell out of the bundle.
I think Pennington basically just replaces him,his OBP vs lefties is almost same as Valencia and his OBP vs RHP is better.

But some of Jays moves are questionable. Like why is Loup who has 5.19ERA and .286 AVG vs Lefties, still on MLB roster but Delabar who has 3.33ERA and .114AVG vs lefties, in AAA.....And to make it more frustrating to see 12 of his past 14 relief appearances,Loup has allowed at least 1 baserunner. Just have to wonder what is seriously the Jays reasoning behind not only keeping him on MLB roster, but keeping him over guys who have been real solid guys in the bullpen, now forced to stay in AAA(Delabar and Tepera, both with AVG vs LHB just over .100)

Don't know if people in USA can see it, but this is only site I can find that has the better view of the Gardner getting a ball in the head:

I hope Kershaw and Greinke have it in them to repeatedly toss 8 inning shutouts in the playoffs since that's the only way we're winning the pennant.

What a pathetic excuse of a bullpen.

Don't forget the rotation is pretty barren once you get past those two guys as well. For a bunch of smart guys in the front office they sure whiffed on addressing bullpen help.

The 3/4/5 starters are Wood, Latos and Anderson, so I don't agree with that characterization at all.

And Jim Johnson was supposed to be the bullpen help. He helpfully gave up 8 runs in 0.2 innings tonight.

Yep your bullpen "help" had an ERA of 107 tonight. Not good...

Well, that was unexpected after the way the game started. Cutch with a great HR, along with Cervelli and Kang. Harrison and Mercer are coming back soon too.

Yea the rotation is fine. Not sure why there would be a claim they aren't.

The bullpen is certainly an issue. JJ has been terrible since I had to endure him as the A's closer. Not sure why they included him in that trade.

If Mercer wanted to stay away that would be okay.
