Nice win by the Pirates grinding it out. Happy to see Polanco finally putting it together.

If there isn't one already (I doubt there is), I'm excited to see the Grantland piece detailing the demise of the Nationals. A stunning collapse.

If they're so convinced that's the case, why haven't they filed an investigation with MLB in the several years they've been accusing Jays of doing this? A power hitting team is great at hitting in their own ballpark which is a hitters ballpark...big surprise. Don't start throwing around stupid conspiracies and have 0 proof to back it up.

If Jays really were doing this, someone surely would've brought it to the attention of the MLB already. And former players on Jays would've spoken up about it too(players specifically who left Jays on bad terms, which has been the case for a few players). So the fact that none of it has happened, just shows how little faith they have in their own conspiracies.
The Yanks are still on that crap?!

Well that explains why McCann was coming out to the mound seemingly after every pitch during the Tulo AB in the 9th.

Everyone was waiting for the Nationals to get Rendon and Werth back. They did, and they've somehow gotten worse.

They've basically fallen out of Wild Card contention too, so they have to win their division.

Loved seeing how many folks were at all the ballparks tonight...seemed every park was at capacity and folks were into the games. Love baseball!

What a freakin' last 2 innings in the Yankees/Blue Jays game. Just spectacular.

I'm excited to see anything in depth by Grantland these days. They are my favorite website for analysis articles about sports. I think they report the hell out of their pieces in a way FanGraphs/Deadspin/ESPN/SI could only dream about--granted they only overlap somewhat content-wise. I think Grantland has a fantastic stable of writers (and to head this one off, no, I do not work for Grantland and am not Bill Simmons).

I guess it won't be long now before Papelbon tells the Nationals "he didn't come here for this." I love this collapse.

The Mariners are the first team to give up 15 runs following a no-hitter since the Red Sox in 1905.

Beltran must think it's 2004 or something...

In the post-game interview, he said he was late and missed on two straight fastballs up in the zone. He felt he'd get another one so he choked up on the bat.

Who knew baseball players today actually choked up on the bat?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
