I think we're safe for a long while, Cal.

Yeah, he's just being nice. It would have to be a superstar level player who would stay in the starting lineup for all of those seasons, and teams these days will rest those players for reasons that they never did for most Ripken's run.

Ya, after everything in the past 1.5 months, it's surprising to see the Jays on the other end of a beating.

Game like this, wonder if it's the last start for Hutchison either for awhile, or all season. Road trip coming up, Hutchison sucks on the road(especially in Boston where his next scheduled start is), and Stroman is coming back next week, so maybe 4 man rotation one time through,then let Stroman come in and be Hutchisons replacement.


On a non serious note, I blame loss on politics. Not baseball politics, Canadian politics. Jays haven't won a game all season long with a PM candidate attending the game(most notable one was when their 11 game win streak was snapped)
