Sloppy game tonight from the Mariners. Back to 7 GB.

I'll probably keep up my improbably hope until they're mathematically eliminated.

If anyones interested, jays-yankees game at 1pm est is on fox. 30 mins after that finishes,gm2 will be on mlb network

First time the Jays are on a big US network like that since 1993(WS obviously) Kinda surprised to hear that, given that Jays haven't exactly sucked in all the years they didn't make playoffs. And 1994 specifically, they were reigning 2 time WS champs, so winning back to back WS doesn't earn you any TV time?

I'm pretty sure the Jays were on ESPN a few times since '93 and they were definitely on that network in '94. I don't think they've ever been nationally televised on FOX though.

Speaking of FOX i'm surprised as heck we're getting the game here in the Southern Ontario market. Usually it would be blacked out. Normally i'd watch Buck and Pat but i'm making an exception today. I know the MLB-N broadcast will be blacked out for sure.

FYI before you get too excited Maj this is not a national Fox broadcast. Just regional which is what Fox does on Saturday afternoons.

Tulo down. That whole sequence was weird, it looked like he took a shot right in the lower back.

Yanks up 2-0 with a solo shot from Headley. Pineda with two hitless innings.

Tulo just crashed into a team-mate, he might be hurt.

It's being seen by 70% of the country. While it's not a national broadcast it's definitely being shown in most/all of the major markets.

Anywho, Tulo has been taken out of the game. It looks like he jarred his back, seems like Pennington will take over for him and hopefully he can come back for game 2.

That's not right at all...they were on ESPN Sunday Night baseball in 2004. Where do you get/make this stuff up?

No they weren't. Sure, they had a Sunday night game against the Rangers in 2004 (I was there), but the ESPY's were broadcast that night. Instead, ESPN showed a Dodgers game in the afternoon I believe.

July 22nd, 2001 against NY is the last time they were on ESPN.

                            Not according to this: http://tipofthetower.com/2015/03/06/...seball-season/

Regardless, even if it's 2001 it's not even close to what he stated in his first post.

Yea, that guy probably did the same thing most do. Look and assume a 7 PM game on Sunday night is on ESPN. The Blue Jays were terrible that year. Back then, ESPN showed a tape-delay of the ESPY's on Sunday night (that no one watched) until recently when they show it live on Wednesday's.

Definitely not the first time they've been on national TV. It's just been a very, very long time. It is their first FOX broadcast. They were on TBS back in 2008 twice, and will be tomorrow.

Was the game you went to in Texas? This game he describes was in Texas...
