Good series against the Yanks and thankfully the Jays took it.

BTW the Royals are losing right now and that makes me VERY happy.

You jinxed it. I still think with the way Royals have played this month, it's not out of reach for Toronto to go 6-4 (or better) the rest of the way and Kansas City go 5-6; they are 8-13 this month after all and playing Cleveland and Minnesota who are trying to make the playoffs won't help them. Doesn't hurt that Toronto gets quite a a few favorable pitching matchups over the last 10. Thankfully the tie goes to Toronto.

Congratulations to the Pirates on their third straight Wild Card Gimmick Nonsense Berth.

I think it would be great tv to make it a best-of-3.

More games? Now we have World Series games scheduled for November. MLB Playoffs should be in October and only October. Own the month.

I would rather go back to 1 Wild Card. Mostly some people were annoyed at WC's winning the WS. Boo-hoo, cry me a river.

If you stay at best of 5 with 1 WC then you can make it so the WC team only has one home game, maybe none. Maybe you extend the Division Series (in place of the current 2 days for the 1 Game playoffs) to a best of 7 ameliorating the possible blitzkrieg factor that could benefit the WC teams. Plus a longer series benefits the deeper team, which I think would tend to be the Division winner and not the WC team.

I like the format now. If anything needs to be changed,regular season should start april 1st every year. Last day of september is last day of regular season. They really dont need days off between playoff games in same city. Gm1-2 should be back to back days,then off day,then gm 3-4 back to back.

I like the 1 game playoff. Makes it a true do-or-die, and still theoretically gives the division winner they play an advantage.

Reducing the days off I think pushes the advantage to the better and deeper team.

Why do you continually ignore things that have already been told to you?

This is the first year in forever that the season hasn't started in the first week of April. I've told you this at least 3 times now yet you keep saying the same thing over and over again.

Cut the season down from 162 to 154 games, get rid of unbalanced divisional play and Interleague Play, start the season on 4/1 every year (in the U.S.), keep the dual Wild Cards, and make the 1-game playoff a 3-game series. To me, that would be perfection.

I just don't like having the teams that earned the top seeds sitting that long. It's not fair to them. I would just prefer they go back to the four team playoff.

I say cut it down to 154 games eliminating some but NOT all Interleague games and then cut down on some out of division games as well. Like half and half maybe so cut 4 IL games and 4 out of division games. Keep the playoff structure the way it is. I like the 2 WCs and the 1 game playoff. Because it makes meaning your division actually mean something. You get a couple of extra days off as well as you get to throw your ace against the other guy's 2.
