Re: 2015 MLB Hot Stove thread
So with Cueto to the Giants I can see both sides of the deal. On one hand he is a great pickup because he is only 29 and it now gives the Giants a rotation of Bumgarner, Cueto, Samardzija,Heston,Peavy and if healthy Cain. Only thing that I could see that hurts the Giants is if the Giants have the same injury issues next season and no way of getting a bat into the lineup.
Has he recovered from his injuries? Will he ever pitch again?
It's been sad to see what has become of him. Basically flaming out before he was 30.Comment

Re: 2015 MLB Hot Stove thread
I just don't see it. Giants gave him that Kobe deal last year as a thank you and because the fan base wanted him back. He's gonna want to start, and at this point he's a strikeout pitcher without strikeout stuff anymore. I guarantee he wants to go to Seattle, but I'm not sure what that rotation looks like.
But yeah, in his prime he was badass.Comment

I don't think they were bad mechanics; he was just too small for the power he generated out of his lower half.Comment
