So we are going to trade for a guy who will most likely get suspended? Maybe as a welcoming gift we can get him a holster for his gun with a Yankee logo. There is a reason LA dropped like a hot potato.

I dunno how good these prospects are but the Yanks made out like bandits by being able to keep some of the prospects that everyone were talking about this past season.

BTW love that guy's name, Rookie.

Jagielo and Davis are the key guys here.

Sounds like they basically traded peanuts for him.

If he is suspended for 46 games or more, he wont qualify for free agency.

Jagielo is Todd Frazier's replacement 2-3 years from now. He's a ballplayer.

                Buying low-ish on Chapman.

Betances-Miller-Chapman? Mighty scary. Game over after 6 innings. They probably won't match the Nasty Boys nearly 9 WAR, but it is quite impressive.

SMH at Jocketty. Had a better offer from Arizona at the deadline and ended up getting crap for Chapman. Frazier too. I hate the Reds front office.

If he gets suspended for >45 games the Yankees get him for another year. So not necessarily a bad thing.

Why at Jocketty? It should be at Chapman, if he didn't do anything they would have gotten a Kimbrelseque return.

Jocketty had better offers at the trading deadline. They didn't get one top 100 guy. They got a decent pitcher (who the Reds have a trillion of), a third baseman who likely can't stick there, an average reliever and a utility guy with no power or speed.

Jagielo is nice, but wow @ that bullpen.

I might make Chapman a starter if I'm New York. Just.. that pitching staff, jeez.

I would guess Miller stays as the closer at least for this season.
