Ryan Madson signs a 3 year $22MM deal with the Oakland A's.

    Why the A's?

Yeah that's a bit of a head scratcher but maybe that was the best deal he could get?

No chance Oakland keeps him there for 3 years.

Would have liked to see him return to the Phillies to help the bullpen, but the Phillies are in no position to give out a deal like that at this point in time.

          Why not?

It's a park that inflates pitchers numbers and if they aren't doing well he knows they aren't afraid to deal at the deadline.

It's not like Oak is sitting on their laurels and not improving the team. They had 35 one run losses, 25 blown saves, and a 4.63 bullpen era last year. How do you fix that? Sign bats?

Also, it's Oakland, every free agent pitcher should consider pitching in that park.

After one weird unlucky year people assuming they are a last place team for the foreseeable future again.

Dodgers and Reds discussing a trade involving Aroldis Chapman.

Dodgers also close signing Hisashi Iwakuma

                          Seager please.

Seriously though I'm interested to see what the projected return is. Houston seems like a better fit tbh.
