Really love this deal. Don't forget we also got Elias who has a lot of upside. Carson, Taz, Uehara, Kimbrel. Our 'pen is looking real good.

Mariners are now trying to get Lind from Milwaukee.

Apparently the Chapman deal isn't done as other teams have gotten back into the mix.


And the Mariners aren't done, they're trying to get Lind from the Brewers.

Carson had 92 Ks in 70 innings w/ a 2.31 ERA.

In September, 20 Ks in 12.2 innings with only 3 walks and ZERO runs.

Both teams have confirmed. Boston gets Smith and Elias, Mariners get Miley and Aro. M's eat all of Miley's salary (not saying much).

It's not even that much, it's only 15.084M with a team option. Perfect amount for a lefty innings eater.
