I definitely expect some smack talking IF the Sox pull it off, and it might last up until opening day, but I think there will be a lot of relief hidden deep in that smack talk.

I think Sox fans would be too happy with just finally seeing their team win a title to care. In fact, I think the rivalry between the teams itself might cool down just a tad if the Sox win it all. Sure, it'd still be heated, but it won't have the oomph from the '1918' chants being gone for the most part.

I just heard on ESPN news that Schillings ankle could keep him out of the series.

Like honestly, if he was 100% this series would be ours. WTF

      The dynasty will return

How about you wait more than one game before you start with the excuses?

Schilling is making excuses cuz he opened his big fat ugly mouth about the yankee fans and now he is looking like the big idiot and wants no part of the mistic and aura that the yankees have. Go back to arizona you fat cow and dont come back until you have another great weapon to help you like randy johnson. Yankees rule baby and thats just the way it goes.

The redsox are all hillbillies and the yankees are winners and classy.

...and notice how the first inflammatory post wasnt enough. He had to make the second one apparently thinking the first one was not adecquate towards getting under someone's skin.

Considering who owns the team.. while the Yankees are a famous, legendary team.. I think classy might be one of the last words I'd use to describe them
