They better pan out or this is substantial hole to climb out of.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

The difference is that baseball prospects are even harder to project out than prospects in every other sport. The Braves could conceivably turn it around within 3 years or have a long period in the woods for nearly 2 decades. (like the Royals and Pirates)

The Braves scouting staff has to be very diligent and not go reaching out on projects IMO.

Too bad the Yankees/Tigers game got postponed. Was looking forward to watching Tanaka and Verlander.

I only feel bad for Braves fans that were Braves fans before the 1990s. The others just hopped on the bandwagon and are flustered that that the ride is over.

Meh...the ride has been over for a while now. This franchise hasn't won a post-season series since 2001 (0-7 plus one play in game loss) and has been mediocre since 2006. I've been here before watching Tommy Gregg, Jeff Treadway, and Odibe McDowell get significant playing time. There will be better days, but for now it just sucks.

Cardinals home opener today against the Brewers.

Hopefully Wacha can bounce back after a terrible performance in Pittsburgh.

Final Home opener for David Ortiz. Price on the mound when he should've been yesterday. Monday's suck.

                        Which happens first:

Orioles lose a game or Twins win a game?

Hope Sox fans take it easy on Pablo this afternoon during pre game introductions. The broken belt incident was embarrassing enough. I know we all don't want the guy here, but he is still one of ours. Do the guy a solid and give a polite clap.

We have all year to boo when he is on the field and not riding the bench.

Update - He was loudly booed.
