The Phillies are above .500 after 21 games. That is a win in my book.

Just got home. Saw that the Astros were victorious tonight and that they have run the Twins down from behind.

        Deal with it, Minneapolis.

Am Ithe only one who saw this coming from the Astros? People in the media and elsewhere can't seem to wrap their heads around it. But fact remains they had one of the luckiest seasons in recent memory. Outside of Altuve they don't have any proven consistent everyday player in their lineup. And outside of Keuchel, who was lucky him self last season, have a pretty suspect rotation. You cannot strikeout 567654345678 times a season and expect to win on a consistent basis. HR's won't always be their to bail you out.

The Astros definitely played ahead of schedule last year but I disagree that they don't have anyone outside of Altuve in the lineup.

I think the media is doing a lot of what you're saying though in expecting this team to take a large step forward without considering they never should have been in the position they were in a year ago.

Also their second half should have raised more alarms for 2016. It's a talented roster but it's not there yet. That can change this season because some teams figure it out somewhere in those 162 games.

Pirates pitching strikes again, but the offense rescues it. I'm impressed with Polanco this year, hes really maturing as a player.

Convinced the Yankees are more concerned with their ticket policy than fielding a competitive team.

It took until April 27th for Adam Wainwright to record his first win of the season.

Hopefully he'll now get back to his old self and start dominating his starts on the mound.

You must be loving this start by the stros.

Didn't you ride that lucky narrative for half of last season? For sure Keuchel couldn't keep up his luck, as he went on to win Cy Young.

                          Miguel Montero to the DL.

Cubs catchers are now Ross/Federowicz. Eww.

Villar leads off the game vs Arrieta with a broken bat single, because Baseball.

1 hit, 2 walks, 3 stolen bases, 31 pitches in the first...but no runs allowed.

After all that, the Cubs plate 2 in the bottom half and looking for more.
