    Re: 5/16 - 5/29 Game Discussion Thread

I know everyone wants to get the play right...but I am so over replay. It absolutely kills the spontaneity as a fan. I think about one of my most exciting moments as a fan...the 1992 NLCS, Game 7 with Sid Bream's slide. As soon as it was called safe, I went nuts...it was awesome. Today that would have been 5 minutes of 10 different replay angles while everyone waited to see if the pennant had been won. The entire point of baseball is entertainment...and replay is not entertaining.

I never want to see Clay Buchholz pitch another game in a Red Sox uniform.

He is awful, reminds me of when Capuano pitched for the Yankees, made me want to break my TV.

Not to mention Berrios was horrible in his brief call-up.

Sano is being hosed by the fact that he's being pitched a million times better than he was last year as well as the fact that he's playing out of position. That effort from that fly ball the other day was just a joke.

I know it's because they are bad, but man if it doesn't feel like EVERY break goes against the Braves' this year.

I say the same thing also add Farrell to that list.

The streak is over but Bogaerts is nearing 20 games, I think it's 18 games.

I hope you're not implying JBJ hitting leadoff had something to do with the streak ending. Seeing a lot of that by Sox fans on Twitter.

JBJ hit leadoff 274 times in 303 career minor league games. Not to mention hitting in 6 different spots in the lineup during the streak.

It sure is sad to think that 2013 was Freddie Freeman's peak, but man, it sure has looked that since then. The Braves don't have much in the lineup and they really need him to perform...and he's fairly average to awful. Very hard to watch.

Xander Boegarts now has the longest hit streak in the Majors at 20. Ho-hum.

Braves were 1-23 with RISP in the 3-game series against Milwaukee.

Freeman has been particularly dreadful with RISP. As the only real threat in the lineup, I think he's putting too much pressure on himself to carry the team and thus pressing too much at the plate.

Buchholz has been removed from the rotation! Eduardo Rodriguez is taking his spot, Clay to the pen.
