So today, Mitch Moreland hit a home run that was in the same ballpark (no pun intended) as Nomar Mazara's shot three days ago (that supposedly went 491 feet).

    Moreland's shot

    Mazara's shot:

    <iframe src='http://m.mlb.com/shared/video/embed/embed.html?content_id=737619983&topic_id=8878736&w idth=400&height=224&property=mlb' width='400' height='224' frameborder='0'>Your browser does not support iframes.</iframe>

So, how far do you think it landed? Do I have any takers for 475 feet??

Knocking out 2 stadiums in one weekend! Saw Wrigley Field for the first time yesterday and tomorrow I am going to Miller Park for the first time to see the Brewers and Cardinals. Just bought my ticket. Sitting 7 rows behind home plate! Can't wait!

So last I saw Kershaw had only allowed 60 base runners this year. Damn...

More like No-Run BMC, wouldn't you say?

If they find themselves in the thick of a race, they have three legit closers who are all lights out, a team with a shaky bullpen trying to make a push would be forced to make a move, would be interesting to see the trade possibilities.

Why would they trade any of them if they're in the thick of the playoff race?

I'm taking hypotheticals, if a team gets desperate enough come playoff push time for a closer or setup man, it would be interesting to see the offers.

I would be willing to part with one of them though, if there is something really intriguing.

Roberts should have left Clayton in there. As always the bullpen vomits on itself. Puig almost made a hell of a play there.

What Kershaw is doing with K/BB ratio so far is just silly...back to 21/1

Fresh lefty reliever versus a guy who famously can't hit lefties. I'm OK with the move; you just have to execute there. Famalia looking like total garbage in this series. Can't find the strike zone, but naturally Puig swings at all of his pitches and grounds into a double play.

Jake Arrieta walked 4 batters in his no hitter. Kershaw's walked 5 batters all year.

Love this number. The no-hitter is so overrated.

You basically don't want anyone, even Clayton f'ing Kershaw, facing a batter for the 4th time in a close game. And yes, that holds true even if your middle relief is not very good (like ours). The times-through-the-order penalty is very steep.
