Last night was awful, and Pineda on the mound tonight so I'd put my money on another blowout. This team is causing me physical pain right now, it's going to be even worse when I don't have the NBA Finals to distract me. Long summer ahead.

Yeah I'm not seeing it. I hate Pedroia and Ortiz almost as much as the Kansas City baseball team.

Bryant with a 2-run homer in this one (his 12th) and just missed another one last inning. He's dead nuts on his NL ROY triple slash line from last year...In fact I can't remember such a carbon copy season from year 1 to year 2. Kris is replicating nearly everything, minus stolen bases, but is striking out 10% less (20% this year vs 30% last year). I'll take a 6.5 fWAR 3B making minimum wage every day and twice on Sunday. Nice pick, Theo.
He is really good at punishing mistakes. I don't think you can fix his swing; I'm of the opinion that all that height makes things a little more difficult.

His game is always going to be destroying pitches like that one last night. He doesn't have to get all of it, either.
What's wrong with this swing? How should we expect a swing from a guy with his build to look? http://m.mlb.com/chc/video/topic/155...ield/?c_id=chc

That lineup is so damn inconsistent, you never know what your gonna get. But it royally pisses me off when the offense doesn't back up stellar pitching.

Sabathia has been really good too, it's pretty frustrating, bet they wake up against Detroit today, but it won't matter because Pinata will probably give up 20 runs in the 1st.

Curious to see how Julio Urias does this afternoon against the daunting Cubs lineup.

Completely agree with you. His height forces the extreme uppercut in order to get to low pitches. I think teams will start to work up in the zone more with fastballs on him to see if he can get to them, then continue to finish down with offspeed.
