I'm starting to worry the Jays are not gonna be able to afford Edwin after this monster season he's going through right now

It's awesome to see the Jays doing something they've failed miserably at for the last few years and that's going into the All Star Break on a hot streak.

He already had the ball, knew he wasn't going to get the double play or the runner out at home so he clearly leaned into Norris to try and body check him to get the result that happened.

          Who fields like that?

            Oh, Atlanta.

Why do you toy with me? Where in sam hill was this offense before?

            Also...PLEASE...get rid of Aybar.

Was fully expecting another sweep in the 'stros favor the way both teams had been playing coming into this series.

I'm just repeating what was said on the radio. Idk where you got that exaggerated "they haven't played the Reds 50 times" crap from. They were talking about the Cubs current skid and how they don't beat bad teams.

Baseball giveth and baseball taketh away.

Valbuena with a 3-run walk off bomb. Astros win, 10-9, after blowing a 7-4 lead in the 9th.

I think he's referring to their current skid. 1-12 against non-Reds teams since June 19th.

The Cubs are still the best team in the game IMO. They just need Arrieta to figure out his command problems and get another lefty in the bullpen.

That "crap" came directly from your quote. Read what you wrote again.. there was no mention of the timeline you were referring to. By saying "off their schedule" I assumed you were talking about the entire season. Not my fault you didn't explain it correctly.

I don't know. Their flaws are showing pretty badly right now. They're striking out a ton again, and it's not like the rest of the starters are throwing well. Hammel has imploded sooner than usual, Lester has had his rough patches. Hendricks is the most consistent starter right now.

The bullpen is a major issue, but hopefully the offense resets when Dexter gets back. I don't think it will, but I'm hoping.

Not sure where you could get 50 games against the Reds when all I said was they were 1-14 against teams other than Cincy. I figured you would have the common sense to realize I was talking about the Cubs current losing trend. Everyone knows they beat the Reds this year with the exception of the last series they played against the Reds.
