That's a debate that could have big opinions both ways. Whether or not showing the strikezone graphic or "pitch track" for every pitch on TV is a good or bad thing. Sure, if you think a pitch was called wrong, but look on the graphic and see where it is, you might just be like "I thought it was bad,but I guess I was wrong". But if the call really was a bad one, then obviously people get mad at the umps, especially from August onwards during more meaningful games.

So much for the Angels potentially "getting back into things" or whatever. What a horrendous weekend.

The Astros have hit 5 homers today including 2 by Altuve who is 3 for 3 with 6 RBI. Houston leads the Angels 13-1 after 6.

And that number is likely gonna increase with them going to the Rogers Centre starting tomorrow.

Still can't believe tomorrow will be the first time ever the Padres play in Toronto. It's like the only matchup that's never happened before(meaning Padres playing in Toronto, cause they've played each other 3 diff series, but it was all in San Diego, cause that's how MLB schedules interleague play...). I think every other team has played in every other current city?

Joe Nathan works into and out of trouble in his 1st Cubs appearance. 90-94 with the FB, some good sliders mixed in. Got Braun to freeze on a 3-2 fastball right down the pipe. Struck out Braun-Lucroy-Carter with 2nd and 3rd and 0 out. Could be a nice addition to the pen.

Cubs offense is doing another disappearing act in Milwaukee. Don't understand what it is about Chase Anderson/Zach Davies/Junior Guerra that they find so unbreakable.

And former Blue Jay farm hand Ryan Schimpf just set the Padre rookie record for 9 HR in a month

I take that back. Cubs have the lead 5-4 in the 7th. Some nice hitting by La Stella and Rizzo.

Alex Bregman (Astros top prospect) is going to make his MLB debut tomorrow. Will probably play 3rd until Gurriel is called up in a couple of weeks.

For what it's worth, AJ Hinch has said that Bregman will play 3B, LF and DH as well as being capable, of course, of playing either middle infield spot. All Hinch would say about where he'll play tomorrow is that he won't play middle infield.

I would think that we'll mostly see him at 3rd with Valbuena moving to first.

Poor kid just got rouged up in 1.2 IP with 9 ER. Not the debut you're hoping for when you make it to the show.
