Addy Russell developing some Chuck Knoblauch Disease at SS tonight. Two throwing errors, one of which led to 2 unearned runs. Neither throw was all that close (although he's not missing high like Knobby did).

Not really what we need getting ready for the playoffs.

Ump having some serious issues telling strikes from balls for Cubs-Brewers. Maldonado is clearly yanking them back into the zone and the ump keeps falling for it. Looks like the Cubs will need to rely on SF to clinch the NL Central 2nite.

I haven't watched as much of other teams as I have in the past, but this seems to be a consistent thing in Cubs games. I feel like umpires are regressing this year in strike zone awareness.

If Joe is still there next year they need to make a bobblehead of him clutching his matchup binder.

Tanaka shouldn't have come out, Dellin shouldn't have come in. Pretty predictable result, he just didn't have anything today.

Much worse is how much I hate Ortiz seems to be softening my stance toward A-Rod, he's not around but I just know I can't have this much hate for 2 people at once. Nothing will fix this until they're sitting next to each other on the outside of Cooperstown. It's a special combination of player, team, and fans, I don't know what it is. This must be how PETA felt when Mike Vick was coming out. I'ma need that ballot at less than 30% on his first run and all will be well.

                        Cubs clinched though.

Would've preferred doing it the proper way by winning the game at Wrigley so the fans in attendance could party. But, Russell's throwing yips, the ump's poor strike zone, some lackadaisical defense in LF by Soler (OK, but he also homered), a wasted AB by Bryant late, and about what seemed like 50 curveballs by Tyler Thornburg led to a 1-run loss.

I can't be too mad though, I heard this is the earliest a team has clinched a division since 2002 I believe. Atlanta. All in all, not bad.

Joe is such a ******* sometimes, and then there is that Espada guy, he'd probably send Butler home on Cespedes's arm.

Still not entirely sure how the Sox won tonight.

                              Incredible.

Orioles are so good at making me optimistic again and then ripping my heart out and stomping on it the next night.
