As much as I love replays in baseball, probably more than the average fan, it's so frustrating to see jays have the worst luck when it comes to it. When they challenge, it's like a 60-70% chance they get it wrong/given the generic "there's not enough evidence to overturn the play" explanation. It's rarely "we can confirm the call" explanation.

When other teams challenge, it's like they have a 60-70% chance of being right. They can't even find a definitive view when showing the replays on TV as to why the original call was clearly wrong, yet umps find something to overturn it.

Nah I missed it, was watching the Michigan game (flicking between the 2). But I saw what he was talking about. But I can kinda understand where Verducci is coming from. A guy should know how many outs there are when he comes in to pinch run.

It wasn't constructive criticism, he said he didn't belong up there basically, then he harped about the extra roster spots, all the pitchers, how the Yankees are taking advantage of the extra roster spots.

Then bitched about the pace of the game.

You get to watch baseball everyday free stfu.

Yea I heard about the roster stuff and I agree with him on that. I would go with like 28 on an active roster (per series) but you can have 40 up at any time. I don't want to want to see a team using 10 damn pitchers with a line of 0.1IP 0H 0R.

It was nice to have the Jays on US national TV but UGH Verducci is terrible to listen to. Nice win by the Jays though, good defense, great pitching and just enough offense. I liked that they were aggressive even though it didn't amount to very many runs.

I did find JP Morosi's comment about the attendance and great TV numbers leading to the though around MLB that the Jays could be a contender for years to come....That's nice in theory but Rogers has notoriously been tightfisted with their money.

I saw someone on Twitter say Sanchez should go ahead and get the Bonds treatment.

I actually agree. I think he should be kept out of the Hall of Fame for all eternity.

Ya, some of the US guys are annoying to listen to, but there's a few of them who are great. Happy at least that AL playoffs are on TBS this year, so if Jays do make it, we won't have people like Reynolds or Verducci again. Don't watch lots of the national US broadcasts or watch MLBN so much, but when I do, the main ones I like are Rosenthal,Morosi,Buck(lol,I'm probably only one who does), Shulman, and Amsinger(not a commentator,but he's one of only MLBN guys I really like).
