So did that thing Joe Buck said about letting Scully call the WS on FOX ever get any track?

Scully said he didn't want to call any post-season games because he didn't want to detract from the post-season itself.

I wouldn't see it that way, pity.

OMG what a game between the Jays and Red Sox. What a whale of a pitching performance by Aaron Sanchez. We didn't even know if he'd be starting at the end of the season but to start, go 15-2 and win the ERA title with a 3.00 ERA is just amazing.

That kid is gonna be something special. He's got ace stuff in him. The offense showed up when it had to tonight and some great defensive plays too.

I have said enough for a lifetime, and for the last time, I wish you a very pleasant afternoon.

Jays vs Os at Rogers Centre Tuesday, should be good. Let's hope this can be the jays year!

Also, Sanchez wins AL ERA title too! And Happ I think is only pitcher in mlb history to lead in IP without a complete game?

You are correct on this point.

Not just Happ. Toronto is the only team in history to lead in starting innings pitched and have no complete games. So far removed from Halladay who was good for around 8 or so a season.

And I'm not sure if even the Cubs can overcome the even-year Giants, burning up an ace or not in the wildcard game.

Weird to see though. Last 2 NL winners battling for WC, while the WS champs aren't even in playoffs.

That's not odd at all...the WS winner hasn't been the playoffs since 2012.

Finally, a postseason without the Royals in it..
