Don't deserve to win if you can't turn two dp's.

Brandon Phillips needs to stop trying to get on SportsCenter and use his glove. He had time to glove that ball and flip it in the 10th for at least one out but instead was going for the highlight reel.

Agreed 100%...Phillips always takes the easy play and tried to make it hard. That's apparent...like I said though, that's who he is and he won't be here after this year anyway. Our "SS" on the other hand...holy moly, he looks embarrassingly bad.

Don't deserve to win if you can't turn two dp's. I have serious concerns about Dansby's ability to play SS at this level...Philips is over the hill, so I don't care, but Dansby is really struggling all around.

Allow me to quote from my 2017 BA Prospect Handbook...

Are you saying your scouting report doesn't match this one? lol

Could be that batting .125 is bleeding over into his defense. Both UZR and DRS have graded him about league average so far on defense.

Terrible defense all over the place today. From the Padres' failure with Dee Gordon, to the Phillies and Braves and all those miscues and so on.

And yes, that attention-seeking is part of the reason I hate Phillips, his home run tonight notwithstanding.

This is one time Matrix's declarations against trading for prospects might be coming true. LOL

I've always liked Shelby Miller and felt he was a victim of a lot of bad luck in a Braves uniform. It's nice to see him bouncing back from his dreadful first season in Arizona.

Doesn't feel like one of those late-inning comebacks is in the cards today.

Well they made some noise in the 9th - scored 2 runs without an out - but Montero GIDP kills the momentum. 7-5 final.

I never heard of such a rule before....

Stroman was about to throw a pitch, the ump randomly calls time out of nowhere, Stroman still ended up throwing the ball, the ump then proceeds to send the batter to first base and eject Jays manager for arguing.....
