    Re: 5/29 - 6/11 Game Discussion Thread

The Blue Jays may have to start looking for another long term solution at 2B. Devon Travis has to be the most snake bitten talent i've seen in a Jays uniform ever. Today he was placed on the DL with a deep bone bruise and a tear in his knee cartilage....On the SAME knee he injured last year.

I just saw a very hard to watch video of him talking about it in which he cried. I feel horrible for the guy. It must be beyond frustrating for him.

Scooter Gennett is the first Red EVER to homer 4 times in a game.

The oldest frachise in baseball, with players such as Johnny Bench, Junior, Tony Perez, Adam Dunn, Joey Votto, etc...

          Scooter freakin' Gennett.

Also, career enigma Joe Kelly hit 104 on the gun pitching to Judge.

Odd stat: the Oakland A' s are 1 game behind the Texas Rangers in the standings, but Oakland has a -58 run differential, while Texas is at 0.

But the atmosphere was great. Felt like a playoff game in a way. Roof open, sunny day. Two Donaldson home runs and judge had one too.

Got a mini vip like batting practice session. Vip because not many people were there yet, outside of ones trying to get autographs by field, and home run section people.

That's the bonus part of ticket. Not just buying tickets for game, but anything that happens from moment gates open. Judge hit so many big home runs in batting practice. I wanna go right when gates open more often. Walk around ballpark and do what you want for awhile. Nice relaxing way to spend 5hrs. Batting practice, get to watch pregame show live in person at ballpark, and a game after all that.

                      Absolutely nothing better.

                          A few Craig Kimbrel notes.

His SO/9 this year so far is 17.9, which is the highest all time.

He has more 276 more Ks than baserunners allowed, biggest differential in history.

Twins are also below .500 (12-18) at home this year. They may have the lead in the division but they need to keep up the crazy reverse splits of winning on the road to offset their home woes.

I'm glad he's back to his "normal" self this year. Last couple of years have not been Kimbrel-like.
