Jays-Mariners once again live from Safeco Field in Seattle,Canada.

Funny hearing the lengths they're going to to try and stop Jays fans from going to the game. They doubled the ticket prices, trying to price out the fans making the trip down for the series.

I feel like this might be over-exaggerating.

Actually it isn't, the atmosphere when the Jays are in Seattle is a 60/40 split in favor of the Jays. It is also true that the M's doubled their ticket prices for lower level seating for the Jays series. The M's claim it's for dynamic seating ticket pricing but if one reads between the lines it's basically to discourage Jays boosters.

Anywho, looks like we can hang an "L" for the Jays tonight. I feel like this is a team that is -5/+5 games within .500 in the long run. I would not be surprised if Shapiro and Atkins pulls the trigger on selling some assets this trade deadline. It's better to do something like this a year before rather than a year late.

Seems like pretty basic supply and demand to me.

Wait, M's fans don't have a card they can show at the box office to get the regular priced tickets?

Cardinals finally snap the losing streak at 7 games. Now let's see if we can win 7 in a row.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I wouldn't hold my breath. Honestly, Tommy Pham saved their butts with that great catch to end the game last night.

Nope, we'd have to pay the same price as Blue Jays fans.

Made the drive to Pittsburgh today for Pirates/Marlins. Sitting behind home plate. First time here since 2009.

Man, yesterday Stanton hit one over the batter's eye at PNC.

Today he hit one off the very top of it.

Been out all day, but it looks like Newcomb impressed in his debut. Too bad the bats didn't show up...

Just went back and watched Newcomb's start...beyond impressive. No reason for the kid to go back to AAA, IMO, and Colon should be a bullpen arm from here on out. Newcomb throws such easy gas and his curveball is incredible. It's just one start, but there is a lot to be excited about there.

Stop me if you've heard this before...Eric O'Flaherty missed location on a slider down and in, ball goes far. We HAVE to have someone else in our system who can replace him. I appreciate everything he did in the 2009-2012...but he needs to go.
