Hmm. Luis Severino is a ace. Imagine that.

...it's almost like the Braves were trolling the DBacks by bringing up Blair to pitch today. In the lineup you have Inciarte, Swanson, and Blair, all from the 2015 trade.

Chris Taylor isn't going to keep up the Joey Votto impression, but it's still incredible to watch.

No red sox fan, but that's still ****ing awesome for a kid to do that.

I hate the Sawx but i've seen Devers play a little bit and I think he could be a pretty good player at the next level. I think one of the best things to happen to a position player is to have their first hit be a homer. At least it's very memorable

Not bad. Pazos made him look silly on a 3-pitch strikeout last night (lefty-lefty matchup), but kid should be pretty good.

He's the youngest player to homer for Boston since Tony Conigliaro in '65.

Youngest Sox position player since Luis Alvarado in '69.

                      Atta boy Rizzo.

Bad play by Engel in CF. That should've been a ground rule double but he went and grabbed the ball.

The Nats' bullpen...where no lead is safe!

Sean Doolittle on to close out an 8-2 lead against Milwaukee and it's now 8-5.

Final score not indicative of the nice pitcher's duel between Jimmy Nelson and Gio Gonzalez.

At this point Inciarte looks to be the only one worth anything at the moment. The Braves just sent Dansby Swanson down to the Minors.

Still think Dansby will be fine...we've seen flashes of it this year. He was improving every month and then July hit. It's just been brutal...I think some time playing every day at AAA will be good for him.

I agree he has shown flashes, hopefully he gets it all together after a stint at AAA.
