I swear Stanton hits a homerun every night here lately . Would be nice to see him stay healthy for a full year.

The Brewers are who we thought they were. Terrible.

Dexter Fowler with 5 RBI's tonight. Who wants him?

Brett Cecil doing his best to allow the Royals to cut into the 7-3 lead. At least he got Gordon to strike out.

And as I type this, Cecil out and Oh coming in.

And Oh gives up 2 run double to Moss. 7-5 Cards. Sac fly and its 7-6.

            Good job bullpen

              Come on Rosenthal!

Rosenthal keeps it a one run game. Let's score some runs here in our half of the inning.

At least they made it into August with their surprising season. It's a nice springboard for the future as they're admittedly a year or two ahead of schedule.

Cardinals win their 6th in a row and sweep the 4 game I-70 series against the Royals.

Somehow, someway, this team is only a game behind the Cubs for the NL Central.

James Paxton just left with what looks like possibly a chest injury. Man....

                        Strained pectoral for Paxton.

Trout just hit a bases clearing double in the top of the 9th and 2 outs, after Bud Norris gave up 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th to tie the game, totally wasting the Angels performance up to that point.

                        Wow. Hell of a game.

                          Eh.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Yep, Mark Shapiro was on the radio yesterday and there's now public airing out of the idea of a position change for Tulo. I dunno where they'd move him? Maybe DH.
