Miggy gets 7 games, Gary only gets 4? What?

Alex Wilson 4 for throwing at Todd Frazier.

Romine 2 for fighting, which is garbage but whatever.

Ausmus 1 for Wilson throwing at Frazier.

Fines for Girardi, Yankees bench coach Rob Thomson, Brett Gardner, Tommy Kahnle, Jose Iglesias, Clint Frazier, and Garrett Cooper.

I mean technically Miggy initiated everything. But still got a raw deal in my eyes.

Romine I can understand. Because after tackling Miggy he was throwing blows. Yankees need to call up a few catchers now lol. Have any of them appealed?

Pretty sad state of affairs that Wilson gets 4 games while Betances and Kahnle get nothing, all because he had the balls to admit he did it on purpose. Pretty clear what the message there is, throw at people as much as you want, as dangerously as you want, but just make sure you don't be honest about it afterwards.

You have to assume Sanchez being a big name in the middle of a playoff race is the main reason he's gotten away with only 4 games. It's pretty easy to give Miggy the most games as they don't matter at all really.

Weird move, I'd have thought it makes more sense to just appeal Sanchez's to delay it so he can play in the games Romine is suspended for, then when his ban is upheld Romine is back and can catch. Appealing both leaves them open to having both guys suspended at the same time, which is surely what you want to avoid?

Yea that would definitely make more sense. And I doubt anything gets overturned. Plus I would much rather have Sanchez against Cleveland then Seattle.

Good news on the Yanks side is Castro and Bird are ironically returning while Sanchez sits out.

I just read Yankees 40 man is full and Higashioka is hurt. So they are gonna have to call up a catcher. Should be intersting to see who they call up lol.
