Marlins and Rockies just getting underway, with some very interested spectators in Milwaukee and St. Louis. Both will probably know where they stand before their games start.

...And it's not looking good for either of them. 6-0 COL in the 2nd.

If it means my favorite coach in MLB can get a managerial job then i'm all for this. Okay, I also hate the Himbo John Farrell as well.

So we're gonna do it like this, Cubs? Put it all on Cincy to clinch for you? Bruh

Can't even hit Michael Wacha, lol. He's usually an easy mark for the Cubbies (ERA vs CHC well north of 6).

I really have to be careful of what I say and when I say it. I have these incredible jinx and reverse jinx powers. It's a burden for sure.

Rockies win all but ensuring the Cardinals miss the postseason.

Louisville's mighty start to fall due to yet another scandal.

Cubs beat Cardinals to officially eliminate Cards from postseason.

Cubs clinch division and celebrate on field at Busch Stadium.

September 27th 2017 has not be a good sports day for me.

That's actually not surprising given their history. I had an inkling that this was the case.

And the Angels have officially been killed. Walked off by the White Sox. Too many blown games this year for them. To get where they got without Trout for 40 games, patchwork "pitching," and no consistent offense to speak of outside of Andrelton Simmons is nothing short of holy ****.

Please add to this team, Anaheim.

Rockies can clinch tomorrow. Would be pretty ****ty for there to be nothing up for grabs going into the final weekend of the season, I must say.

Paul Molitor's my manager of the year but I think it's going to Francona.

Probably not going anywhere, but it was fun to see the team celebrating after the absolute debacle that was last year.

Quite a run after the All-Star break. The turnaround in run differential from the early part of the season was pretty insane. They absolutely destroyed bad teams in the 2nd half of the season.

This would be a fun scenario:

If the Brewers <s>and Rockies</s> lose today and the Cards win, Milwaukee's facing elimination just like the Cardinals, and the two teams play the final three games against one another. Which means game 1 of that series would be sudden death.

For their part, the Dodgers get to have their say in whether Colorado makes the playoffs - and they are a potential divisional playoff opponent for them. I think LA would rather see the Cards or Brewers in that WC spot than the Rockies - if one of them somehow gets by Arizona, then LA has an easier road.

Reds giving the Brewers a fight today, 3-3 in the 6th.

Edit: Milwaukee wins 4-3 and cannot be eliminated today. Cards have to beat a Cubs team that is resting a bunch of regulars to stay in contention <s>and have the Rockies lose</s>, but trail 1-0 in the 1st.
