9th inning, bases loaded, 1-out, Braves down a run. Snitker opts for Matt Kemp as a pinch hitter. I knew right away this was a bad decision...Kemp hasn't been able to run for weeks. Of course, first pitch he raps into the easiest 1-2-3 game ending DP and the Braves lose their 5th in a row, this time after blowing a 5-0 lead.

    Going out like lambs, boys...

Hopefully they can go cold two more times and the Yankees can stay hot.

Yep. Called it on Twitter too. So pathetic. What a waste of a Gohara start.

Similarly frustrating are all the games the Yankees lost and all the Red Sox games that they horseshoed out of their asses.

On the bright side, Trout hit #200 and #201 of his career.

Astros not cooperating...really wanted to see a playoff for the AL East.

Nice to see Jon Lester rounding into playoff form with 5 easy innings against Cincy.

Cubs are playing pretty well right now. Maybe they can win a game or 2 in the division series

Last day of regular season. Final game for Bautista as a Blue Jay. Hopefully next season there can be legitimate playoff hopes and not just hopeless hype. Don't know if this fanbase would support another lengthy playoff drought.

That player in 2000? Shane Halter, of the Detroit Tigers (!).

Sadly, this and the brawl against the Yankees were by far the 2 best moments of our season. It's gonna be a while before we're relevant again....

I had forgotten that all the games today start at the same time...hilarious that there is literally nothing to be decided today.

Ever since 2nd WC was introduced, has there been as pointless a day as today? Feels like there's at least 1 spot whether it's WC positioning or division winner spots that gets decided in gm162.

Sucks looking at alwc this year and realizing no team out of playoffs finished above. 500! 82 wins still would've gotten Twins a spot. And just 85 wins by anyone else would've surpassed twins. I remember like a decade ago the Jays would get in mid 80s win total and still finished 7th or 8th in the AL.
