He might need to go to Toronto if that's his feeling. Maybe it's different up there, but no matter where he signs in America he will be compared to other Japanese pitchers. The media is that lazy.

He would be automatically the most well known and best Japanese born/background player to ever step foot in the Canadian sports scene not just Toronto. Toronto has a pretty vibrant Japanese and Asian community so he wouldn't feel out of place here either.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I want Ohtani in Chicago...but I have very little belief that it will happen...and am not convinced it's even a good idea.

I just want in on the fun if things pan out well

I thought Kawasaki was with Toronto first...I meant came direct from Japan to Chicago.

Then from there, the Marlins have the ability to ship out Dee Gordon as well.

Tigers would gladly take on Prado, Tazawa and Ziegler if we got prospects in return. The latter two go in the 'pen, and Prado plays 2B once Kinsler is dealt. Marlins manage to shed 30 M in 2018 salary and 45 M total.
