Headley has to be one of the most streakiest players I have watched. When he is on he is pretty good but when he is off he really sucks. Unfortunately he is more off than on!

I wouldn’t mind seeing Andujar get the job at 3rd but I think Todd Frazier will be coming back on a 1 or 2 year deal now.

I just hope to one day be as devoted to my future wife as Scott Boras is to his clients.

Indifferent to Headley being traded. Doesn't matter either way, I wonder if now we bring back the Toddfather.

Rosenthal says the Orioles are shopping Machado who wants to go back to short.

I was reading yesterday the Orioles didn't make a pitch to Ohtani because they don't believe in the posting system. They got all into how Angelos was a big force in the labor deals, and takes a very principled stand against things he sees as detrimental. I think I recall also they don't want to give out player options. I just think it's interesting and wonder how I would feel if my team was intentionally handicapping itself, even for a good reason.

Please God somebody take Ellsbury now. If anyone can do it. It's Cashman lol.

Have to agree with you King. Especially this past NBA off-season was just ****ing absurd.

Hot stove is a close second though. It just doesn't match up to the drama of the NBA off-season lol.

I don't see it happening. He thinks he can win his job back, not sure what he is smoking. I think the Yanks have themselves a very expensive bench warmer.

Unfortunately you are likely correct. I'm not holding my breath believe me.

But man I want him gone so badly.

Dexter Fowler for Machado straight up!

                    Best deal they will get.

It's basically a salary dump from the Yankees point of view. The reason why San Diego took on Headley's contract was because they were given Mitchell in the deal as well who has major upside. It's a good deal for both sides I think.

If he really can’t be traded he needs to be released. The roster spot he is taking up is way too valuable to have open at this point, especially with Stanton now in the picture. It would be tough to eat all that money but it would be worth it. Ellsbury is done, he’s not going to magically turn back into the player he was.

All the other OF options are far better then him now. Yankees obviously won’t do it but it’s what needs to happen if he can’t be traded.

Seeing the Toddfather wants a multiyear deal, that won't work for our plans. I honestly didn't realize he was only 31 going on 32, I thought he was older. Wanted to see him back hopefully on a 1 year deal but I wouldn't think he's in a position in his career where this is the time to take a paycut and a one year deal. Hope we can figure it out, but I won't blame him either way.

He's only turning 32?! He looks and plays like he's 35ish.

That's exactly what I was thinking lol. He just looks mid-late 30s. He's only a year and a half older than JD Martinez.
