I'd be open to that, depending who we gave up.

      RBI single by Tyler Wade!

Error by Drury which ties the game.

Earliest Rays have scored this year by 3 innings.

Literally no idea what Rob Refsynder is supposed to bring to the team, other than being equally poor in a few positions. He DH'd against Boston, which is just depressing

Nah on Archer. I don't see him being the game changer for them.

Agreed, especially given that the YES team brought up the drastic decline in Archer's stats vs the Yankees in recent years. I think the Rays would ask for too much and it wouldn't be a good move, given the possibility of the move blowing up in NYY's faces.

Right on cue. That's my concern with Archer. He would give up a lot of home runs in Yankee Stadium.

Yup. If I recall the graphic they showed, he allowed 1 HR in his first 8 starts and he's allowed now 10 HR since.

I really like the Tampa Bay announcers on Sun.

Really fair. Taking from the pitcher's perspective for every half inning.

Genuinely think this Rays team has some worst team in baseball potential. I just don't see where the runs will consistently come from and the AL East is looking really tough

Yeah, they traded away the bulk of their HR hitters from 2017 and that'll really hamstring their offense this year.

I genuinely can't see a 25 homerun guy on team, or even a .280 hitter. It's not a great combination. Maybe Duffy could hit for a high average, maybe Ramos, Cron or Gomez could potentially hit 20 homers, but you wouldn't bet on it.

Then it's a division with the Yankees who probably have 4 guys who'll hit 30 homers and bat .280!

Though I guess one could argue a runner on second in the tenth would have had its own exciting play.

Play from first is better than a cookie cutter attempts to bunt the auto runner over.

Looks like a miserable day to be playing baseball. Tigers game and now the Yankees.

Boone being not much better than Kapler as a manager is not helping. Why the heck was Holder in there in a close game? Why was he given such a long leash?

No match for the bullpen killer, Denard Span.
