Before, the ball had to clear the wall in right field to be considered a homer. Now, they have a yellow line that, if the ball hits anywhere above the yellow line, even if it's against the wall, it's considered a homer.

I noticed this tonight on the Quick Pitch highlights. It does some odd, for sure.

Some absolutely GREAT baseball last night. That play at the plate by Givens was incredible...as soon as I saw the WP I thought game over. I don't want a play like that to be illegal. Judge with the robbery, Alvarez with the slam. So glad we are still playing "real" baseball in extra innings.

Angels/A's, Cubs/Brewers. Great way to kick off the weekend!

Pirates a surprising 6-1, we'll see how they do vs the Cubs next series. Would be nice if this was Polanco turning a corner.

Yeah, haha I get it now. I don't know why they did it. So stupid.

The biggest reason I want Machado in a Yankees uniform. So the Yankees dont have to face him anymore. He owns the Yankees.

Don't want to overreact to 2 innings, but Kenley Jansen's cutter sitting only at 90-91 is...pretty alarming.

Blue in the Cards/DBacks game has an...interesting strike zone today. Heater that split the middle was called a ball.

Xander Boegarts is having a hell of a season so far. His grand slam in the 2nd inning was the first for Boston since Pedroia in September 2016.

AND JUST DINGERS MARTINEZ GOES DEEP FOR THE FIRST TIME AS A PLAYER FOR BOSTON, AND FIRST EVER HOME RUN AT FENWAY.

                              FOLLLOWED BY DEVERS DEEP.

A healthy Xander Boegarts sure is fun to watch. Perennial batting champ contender if healthy.
