I just love how much more focused the team is in having good ABs, making contact the past couple of years.

I just wish Snit would put the run sign on more. I really want to see more 80s baseball.

It's a really attractive style of play. If we're not gonna be good, at least be entertaining. In 2013 when we were "good" the team was miserable to watch with all the strikeouts and such.

Maybe we *are* good?

The one he called a strike to Happ in the 1st inning was particularly bad. Almora's HR would've been a 2-run job instead of a solo.

Jim Deshaies, the normally mild mannered Cubs TV color guy, is not at all happy with this strike zone.

EDIT: There's another one. Newcomb should've struck out there. "Ball 3" lol

That's when you know you're hot. Albies getting RBIs even without getting a hit. He's a good looking young player. Made some really nice defensive plays yesterday. Having some good ABs today. Hope he keeps it up, but mostly after the Braves leave town.

I questioned Chicago's pitching before the season and while I know it's early, they have not done much to prove they can turn it on later in the year.

Lester has been decling, Hendricks will never pitch as good as he previously did, Darvish has been inconsistent for the past 2 seasons, Chatwood is an unknown and Q is a backend starter at best.

People who thought Cubs would walk the division might be in for a rude awakening soon.
