It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: 4/9 - 4/22 Game Discussion Thread
Lol, hey, I gotta show some Rockie fan bias! It just seemed like it was close enough to where it could have stood as called and not been overturned. As bcruise said, there's been much more obvious calls that should have been overturned only for the original call to stand. So with as close a call as it was, I was hoping they were going to stand with the call and not overturn it, especially with it being the game ending play.
That, and as you said, much more obvious calls have failed to be overturned upon review, and that was at least close enough I had a reasonable belief New York would uphold it on the whole not conclusive line.
That's one thing, while replay review can be great, it seems like New York is just flipping coins right now when making decisions whether to overturn or uphold plays.

I'm just happy the Rockies are back on the road tomorrow. So far this season, at home they're 3-6, while on the road they're 9-5, including taking 3 of 4 at Washington and 2 of 3 at Pittsburgh last week. Maybe they can just play all their games on the road.

Re: 4/9 - 4/22 Game Discussion Thread
Just fine. They're a half game out of 1st place after a pretty bad start. Yes. it's early. But they were probably expected to be in 4th or 5th in the division by this point already. Instead they have a change to be 4.5 game ahead of the predicted division leader. But....way too early.Comment

Went to the Nationals/Dodgers game. It was whatever. Nothing terribly noteworthy.Comment

A 21 pitch AB must be a complete mind**** from both the batter and pitcher perspective. At some point you just want it to end, but you don't want to be the one to blink.
Obviously from a pitch count perspective, the pitcher is ****ed either way.Comment

I just saw a new article about that at-bat. It lasted about 13 minutes. For one at-bat. Hell, there are times an entire inning (both top and bottom) don't last 13 minutes. That is just crazy.

I can't believe yesterday was Carlos Gomez' first ever walk-off.
It just feels like he's had like one or two more.Boston Red Sox

Re: 4/9 - 4/22 Game Discussion Thread
I wish that MLB 18 had built in 2 things in franchise mode : 1) the sbility in the midst of a season to DL a newer roster. and 2) the ability to handle postponed games by leaving those games blank on a current schedule. I cannot believe with all the years that MLB the show has been around that these simple "real like baseball" variable have not been added. If anyone has any "reasonable suggestions" let me knowComment
