Hopefully this means more than 1 good start for Quintana. Need more consistency from these veteran pitchers.

Re: 5/7 - 5/20 Game Discussion Thread
Hader was just throwing FB's in the 9th, daring batters to hit it. I remember watching Kerry Wood reflecting on his 20k game and he said, hitters weren't hitting his FB, so, that is pretty much what the continued to throw, daring them to hit it.
Hader said his goal is to make the AS team. I'd say he is on his way if this continues and if Counsell continues to use him properly and not burn him out.
I wonder if the Brewers will ever turn the keys over to him to start in the future? He was a starter in the minors.Comment

Everyone is freaking about Hader's K numbers (and rightfully so), but I'm blown away by the H/9 stat: 2.5 H/9 IP?!? Are you kidding me? In 25 innings? I remember last year I thought he was special, but I remember you pulled up his k/b's ration and his walks were higher last year, no doubt. Me must have worked on his mechanics or accuracy during the off season

Altuve hit a ball that hit the fence in right-center, bounces up and over the wall without hitting the ground.
This is a HR.
Umps are persuaded by Tito and change it to a 2B.

Re: 5/7 - 5/20 Game Discussion Thread
Mookie Betts hit a HR and 2 doubles last night, his 14th time recording 3+ extra-base hits in 549 career games. In the last 100 years, the only other players to record more than 10 games with 3+ XBH within their first 600 MLB games are Lou Gehrig (12) and Joe DiMaggio (11).Boston Red Sox
