    5/21 - 6/3 Game Discussion Thread

Who would have thought that Braves/Phillies this week would be a battle for first place in the NL East?

...plus, we get a 2016 WS rematch with the Cubs/Indians. Good week of baseball ahead!

Im not sure which team to root for to lose.

Mets need to sweep the Fish this week. Tough schedule coming up ahead of them.

Come on mlb, no jays game today? A Thursday night game VS Oakland over a holiday Monday game? Should be mandatory to have jays home games this weekend including Monday every year since it's a public holiday. Today would've drawn 35k at least. Better than 22k for Thursday night.

          NL teams under .500 = 4

          AL Central teams under .500 = 5

Not just highlighting the struggles of the AL Central but the NL is tearing it up.

Don't think I've ever seen route misused like that, haha.. but you clearly need to root for the phillies to lose.

Cubs are off today after a brutal stretch where they haven't been off since last Thursday.

This Odubel kid is incredible...why wasn't he in Philly's OD game again?

Juan Soto hit his first homer. Youngest player to homer since Jurickson Profar in September 2012.

Another Soto note: he's the first Major League player younger than the Rays and Diamondbacks.

I would love to see a team's scouting report on Mike foltynewicz concerning 0-2 and 1-2 counts. If he gets 2 strikes on you with less than 2 balls in the count you can just put the bat down because the next pitch won't be a strike.

Cubs being idle tonight means my attention is on the I-70 series. Mikolas going for 6-0 for the Cards.

Dude pitched a wonderful game...7IP of shutout baseball. It's almost surprising to me to see an analytic MGR like Kapler let Pivetta go with 90+ pitches in the 7th. I love it, old school baseball.

                            Meanwhile, Braves bullpen.

The lineup is more frustrating tonight. They've looked like they've never hit before. Pivetta gets some credit, but they've been BAD.
