The Braves are still hot and wildly exceeding expectations with an insanely bright future but man...when they have off nights, they have really OFF nights. Hopefully it's just the youth of the team showing.

Natural Golden Sombrero for Tommy Pham is about the only thing that's gone wrong for the Cards in this one. Tyler O'Neill homered again, Mikolas is dominating and the Cards are up 5-0.

I wonder what the Braves record vs .500 or better teams is after tonight.

We are 19-11 against teams with winning records as of today (not counting their record when the Braves played them). These teams are the Mets, the Phillies, the Cubs, the Rockies, and the Nationals.

Hrm, Only two of those teams are assured of being over .500 by the end of the year IMO. Still what the Braves are doing is impressive. One has to wonder if AA will show patience and not sell off any of the farm for a potential postseason run or actually make a move or two to propel this team over the top if they're still in the hunt at the deadline.

Personally I think the Braves are probably a year ahead of schedule but who knows?

Bautista is ending his MLB career the same way it started. Bouncing from team to team.

Of the 10 east division teams, he will have been on 5 of them.

Hopefully he can run into a couple while Cespedes is out.

Don't think I'll ever get tired of Pat Hughes reminiscing about 2016 (and especially game 7). You can just hear in the way he talks about it how much he treasures that moment.

Man, the Mets are entertaining when they can't field to save their lives. That 2nd inning was some funny stuff. Oh and that slip, slide and throw by Bautista had me laughing my head off.
