The true justice here is that for the second year in a row, Luke Heimlich wasn't drafted.

Looks like it's the Independent League at best.

Pitcher for Oregon State that molested his 6-year-old neice when he was 15. Confessed to it at the time (allegedly to keep the neice from testifying), he had to register as a sex offender, and it went into the filing cabinet.

The story got dug up in 2017 by a reporter when Heimlich forgot to re-register (they have to register every year), the story got out, Oregon State kicked him off the team.

After the 2017 season, he decided he didn't actually do it and told the powers that be that he only confessed because he was scared. Oregon State unfortunately let him back on the team.

He didn't get drafted last year, and thankfully didn't get drafted this year.

This is pretty awesome. Rainier Aguilar, a kid I helped recruit at the University of Redlands, was drafted in the 33rd round today by the Padres.

So my former hs. "Niceville high school" has a major prospect in next year's draft.

Rece Hinds. Pretty cool. I'm sure most have heard of him. Just commited to LSU.

Sounds like the Royals are considering signing him.
