Odd? They look ridiculous and I'm embarrassed that MLB would allow those thing to be worn during a game.

I wouldn't want them to be alternates or anything. But for one game out of the year. I'm good with it.

You gotta think we are Yankees fans. So we are used to being traditional lol

Rough start so far for Lester. Only one run on a solo shot but lots of solid contact and over 50 pitches through the second.

Now there's the Lance Lynn I remember from the Cardinals.

Hit parade picking up where it left off yesterday. Just the one Lester homer, but then hit after hit after hit and suddenly 8 runs are on the scoreboard.

I know why they wore it but jeez, I hate those red jerseys. They actually have a winning record with them on BUT when they lose, they get KILLED in em. (Referring to the Jays) Happ looked bad today as well. That's not going to do much good for his trade stock.

BTW Jays home record at home on Canada Day: 12-17

I think the Peter Moylan experiment can be ended...he seems to get lit up every time out lately.

...and now Moylan can't even field his position. This team will not win unless they upgrade the bullpen...it has been atrocious for about a month now.

Do the Twins really have to leave Wrigley? They can stay as long as they're willing to give us double digit runs in each game.

The Tigers are next, I think the Cubs run parade will continue

Jon Lester has now pitched an even 100 IP this year (looking to hit 200 IP for the 9th time) and looks like he'll be going to 11-2 with a 2.25 ERA. If we were still in the era of bubble gum card stats, he'd probably be neck and neck with Scherzer and Nola for the NL Cy Young.
