Was wondering where former Cubs minor league right-hander Felix Pena went...apparently he's been converted back into a starter by the LA Trouts and Seattle is teeing off on him today.

I hope they blow it so Godgers could blow a gasket.

BTW I see my boy Happ had a good line was his performance as good as it looked on the statsheet?

At least he was efficient. Only took 33 pitches. Saving his arm.

Saw a few pages back that Godgers is a pink name now. Hmmm

Too bad that no one will be here to tell us how "done" the M's are while beating the Angels into a pulp.

Good to see that Cabrera move providing instant improved chemistry over the weekend in Cincy. Maybe Tommy Hunter can give after game pep speeches now.

Was listening to the game on the radio...I didn't want to shift to TV as the game got deeper...couldn't risk a jinx. How close was the 1-2 pitch to Taylor? Jim Powell (Braves' announcer) made it sound like it could have been strike 3...that was pretty heartbreaking. I was even more pissed at Winkler for coming in and falling behind 2-0 and giving up a run.

Regardless, what a performance for Newcomb...as bad as we are playing right now we're 1.5 back. Crazy!

It definitely would have been strike 3 had Taylor not swung.

Glad we weren't no-hit, but I do feel a bit bad for Newcomb.

It was a bit high. Good ball call.

I'm talking about the pitch he took...I thought it was the 1-2, but might be off.

Khris Davis took a few days off to make sure that AVG was back below .250, but now he hittin again.

The Braves can't even get a no hitter when its gifted to them basically.

Really though, about time I got to see the Braves win in person. It had been too long.
