Steve Cishek...so much fail. I really want to see pitchers able to throw to bases again someday.

Holland officially gone from Cardinals roster.

        Lyons accepted assignment in minors.

        I’m glad on both accounts

He had a Chatwoodian K/BB ratio. Fun fact about Holland's year for STL: his ERA, K/9, and BB/9 were all the same number: 7.92. Maybe a not-so-fun fact for Cards fans.

Cubs trying to piss away another nice start today...some really awful baseball...

whether it's Ian Happ playing a poor LF or Cishek throwing the ball into CF or Schwarber running the bases like an idiot or Addison Russell not tagging up when he should have. I can probably pick out a couple more instances if I wanted to.

According to the box score, they had 2 errors, one by Arcia, which was a throwing error that allowed a runner from 1st to score and another by Schoop. I don't know how good of a fieldeer Schoop is, but Arcia is a darn good defensive player.

I didn't see any errors by Shaw in the boxscore and he played 2nd base and 3rd base.

So, no errors by people playing out of position.

Tommy Pham not off to the best of starts with the Rays, goes on the DL after taking a pitch off the foot yesterday.

Speaking of poor starts with new teams, I just saw that Schoop is 0-8 with 6 Ks since joining the Brewers. Yikes.

Really pulling for a Yankees win in Fenway tonight. We really need it.

Which is strange because he's been on a tear till that point. 5 homeruns in 5 games at one point I believe.

If I'm the Phillies or a Braves fan I'm nervous about them. They are finally getting healthy. Having Murphy back right is huge. Harper is gonna get hot. I just know it. They are gonna make a serious push.

But then, they remember they are the Nats and fail when people start to expect of them.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
