Man Malex Smith needs to start hanging out with Mike Trout more. That is twice this series he essentially robbed a HR by bringing it back into play while not completing the catch. First was yesterday when he "Robbed" Moncada of a grand slam.

Pretty inexcusable at this point. Unless he is asking for the world then just sign him. This bullpen is not good enough for 162. Even if kimbrel isn't what he once was then he is still better than anything Atlanta currently has

I was about to lose my mind at Acuna...thought he was dogging it. LOL...catchers interference.

Walk off #1 of the year...Dansby has been quite nice so far this year. Time for Acuna to start hitting now.

Newcomb looked great from the 3rd inning on. I wish our pitchers would actually start attacking the zone like he did, it was great to see.

I don't think we're avoiding Hader Time today...only question is what inning does he come in. He's certainly well-rested.

As I speak, he's warming up in the top of the 7th with Claudio on the mound.

Phegley crushes a foul ball over the tracks at Minute Maid and is like, "I gotta straighten that out a little bit," then crushes it fair afterward for a go-ahead home run.

Hader is coming in with 1 out in the top of the 7th and the tying runs on base. The "real save" is here, I guess.

Bryant pops up, Rizzo strikes out after a long AB.

Hader with a heck of a breaking ball on Rizzo in the 7th. I doubt Rizzo was expecting it.

No doubt Hader will go out for the 9th.

Brewers left too many LOB today, too many.

Yup, and Madden called Milwaukee's bluff with Braun on deck to make sure he bats by intentionally walking Yelich with nobody on.

Combined with the fact that Hader came in on a double-switch to begin with, you gotta love NL ball.

There might be riots if Webster goes up and in on Hader at the plate here.

Doesn't happen, Hader bounces out to 2nd.

According to my charts, we're slightly ahead of last year's home run pace.

I challenge anyone to watch Drew Pomeranz pitch and not be pro-pitch clock by the 4th inning. oh my lord he's slow, when men on base he's even worse
