Regarding Chris Davis...

Dude is getting paid $$'s to literally do nothing. He makes the Bobby Bonilla contract almost look better. I get it's not his fault the team signed a bad deal...but it is his fault he ain't helping the team. He's barely even tried changing his approach - get a lighter bat, change the stance, try hitting to LF, something dude. He's been historically pathetic the past 2 years.

edit - Somehow NY called Acuna out. If they want to say not enough evidence I guess that's ok (though there were two very clear views where the tag was completely missed), but that was a very quick review.

I feel bad for Clevinger. Dude has been learning how to pitch and big time influenced by Bauer and was killing it to start the year. SMH.

Tonight, deGrom is going for a record 27 consecutive quality start tonight against the Twins of which he recently tied Bob Gibson.

How much is deGrom in the groove? Rob Friedman, did an overlay of his 3 pitches, a, 98mph Fastball, 95mph Slider & a 89mph Changeup, where he never breaks his stride with either of his pitches.

Worked him into long counts and hit the ball hard off him all night. Fantastic performance by the Twins bats.

After hitting for the cycle a few days ago, Polanco was only a double short again tonight. Was on deck in the 9th, but Kepler flied out so he didn't get the chance.

Byron Buxton stole his 32nd base in a row without being thrown out. His career SB percentage is 90%, lol. Absurd.
