So Aaron Wilkerson, Brewers relief pitcher, just went yard. First career hit, let alone HR.

MLB needs to patch homeruns...this is getting out of hand.

The last two relief pitchers to hit home runs were both Brewers. Brandon Woodruff in the playoffs against LA last year, and Aaron Wilkerson today.

Didn't that one guy for the Reds do it too. Can't remember his name. Hit like two home runs in a span of two days.... Lorenzen.

Christian Yelich just will not be denied. At least it was just an RBI single.

6-3 one out in the 9th.

                  Come on Miller

Still pitching to him. RBI single for Yelich (moral victory for Cards pitching?) and the Brewers are climbing back into the game.

Carpenter's just hitting rockets in this game. 2 classified as "barrels" (one of them a HR, the other a lineout), and just now a 100 MPH screamer right at Aguilar.

                      4 hit day for Dejong.

Joey Votto for the first time in 6,828 plate appearances popped up to 1B today.

You can't do that Vlad thing every time you see a pitch in the dirt, Javy.

(But I'm sure he'll continue to try)

Damn, Pat Hughes with the rare miscall on a Contreras rocket double off the wall (did his HR call).

Yandy and Ji-man are having a party. Not sure I've seen so many hard hit balls in one game by the Rays, it looks like a game of the Show on a low difficulty, even the outs are line drives

This is such an insane stat to me. Not even that it's impressive, but to have that ABs to not have a particular kind of out it so crazy to me.

Would like to see Javy get up with more men on base...

Why not move at least one of the guys that have been getting on base in front of him. To Rizzos credit,, he's been drawing walks.
