Has nothing to do with my bias. Moreso my appreciation for sharp wit and writing/editing.

The quote doesn't make sense. Like I said, if he said "I'm not even watching the ball---it already landed in the ocean" it would be a billion times better.

But I understand people's standards for humor have diminished.

I'm more than willing to let it be because he's an athlete and not a polished writer, but not if people are just going to incessantly suck it off as some shining example of awesome.
Yeah I misread the quote. I read it as "If you don't want to watch me, go get it out of the ocean"

Either way, my point is still that Bumgarner is a tool

Not professional ball, but now we've got an umpire yelling at a player to run the bases after he hit a HR in his final AB in his final home game at Mississippi State.

I hate baseball for this kind of stuff

I'm convinced Bumgarner may need some tampax. This guy is a bit too petty.

Nice to see the Cardinals being good sports and letting the Cubs sweep them back after sweeping them a week ago.

And that folks is how you play polite .500 baseball

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
