I don't know, man... The first two were with Steve Phillips and Jim Duquette... I have a feeling that if Omar was in charge, he could have pulled of at least one of the first two. I think he has a pretty good chance of landing Beltran, particularly if the Yankees have pulled out, as has been reported.

I don't get why Beltran is so insistent on playing in center. Camereon is by far a better defensive player than him.

I guess the star gets his wish. The same is being talked about if he comes to the Cubs. Patterson is a fine CF but he moves to right if Carlos comes. On another note the Sun Times says the Cubs have offered him a deal but its weak compared to the Mets. He cannot sign by Saturday ofr the Cubs to have a chance. Its funny how you get all kinds of different perspectives from news sources.
