    Hall of Fame Inductions

The word in Chicago is that Ryno has barely made the hall. FINALLY! The official word is at 1:00 CST I believe. If this is true I would believe Boggs made it as well!

If HOF elections in the future are going to be adjusted to inflated numbers, then does it seem hypocritical to anyone else to not elect players like Rice and Dawson in who played in eras where there were less power numbers. If you are going to take into account someones era when holding it against players of today then shouldnt this be a pendulum that swings both ways? In any case, I was hoping Sutter, Gossage and Blyleven would get in since its likely inevitable and I dont want to hear about this injustice on OTL anymore.

Sandberg made it by 6 votes, that's crazy. Congrats to him, he deserves it IMO.

However, the Baseball HOF is just crazy. How Blyleven and Jack Morris aren't in the HOF is beyond me. I have a Detroit slant, so you could at least give looks to Trammell and Lou Whitaker. I remember having discussions as a kid on who was better, Sandberg or Whitaker, and they were pretty close. Whitaker isn't even on the ballot anymore.
